I chose this design because I thought the photo my friend Meghan had come upon was very interesting. Someone had said that the picture I chose was kind of provocative but I had thought very differently. This picture had spoke to me. You can be a bit sexy but a mystery and thats what had gotten my interest as I interoperated the piece.
Problems I had faced had very obvious solutions but as many say the obvious challenges can be the hardest. I can across a problem with the ladies shoes. In the original picture they were Red and black. But with the black and white tiles in the background it was a hard decision just to leave it or to color the shoes both red. Then it dawned on me, what if it could be both? So then I thought "Stripes!" Thats how I solved that problem. Another problem was her face. I had spoke to you and you had helped me put more detail so the shape of her face could be ignored with the details on the rest of it.
I am very happy with this piece of art. I am not an art person and my past in art I have made some weird pieces of work. This one I have to say is my best. Im very proud of what I accomplished on this task. :)
